Your beach holiday begins with your journey from Nairobi to Diani.
Choose between travelling by SGR from Nairobi to Mombasa or taking a flight directly to Ukunda Airport, depending on your preferred package and budget.
If travelling by SGR, you will be met at Mombasa SGR Terminus and transferred to Diani Beach. Guests arriving by air will be picked up from Ukunda Airport for the short transfer to their hotel.
Upon arrival, check in and settle into your room.
The rest of the day is deliberately kept relaxed. Take your first walk along the white sandy beach, cool off in the swimming pool or head into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel and settle in for your first night at the Coast.

Today is yours to enjoy Diani.
You can spend the morning beside the swimming pool, relax under the palm trees or walk along the beach. Those looking for something more active can choose from several optional water and beach activities.
Optional Glass-Bottom Boat & Sandbank Experience
Head out into the Indian Ocean aboard a glass-bottom boat and discover some of the marine life beneath Diani's waters.
Depending on tides and sea conditions, the experience may include snorkeling and a stop at a sandbank where you can swim, take photos and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Return to your hotel later and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
In the evening, enjoy dinner and another relaxed night in Diani.

After breakfast, choose how you would like to spend your final full day in Diani.
You can simply stay at your resort and enjoy an uninterrupted day of swimming, sunbathing and relaxation.Alternatively, turn the day into an adventure with one of Diani's most popular optional excursions.
Option 1: Kisite Marine Park &Wasini Island
Travel south towards Shimoni for a memorable marine adventure. Sail across the Indian Ocean aboard a traditional dhow and explore the beautiful waters around Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, one of the South Coast's best-known snorkeling destinations. Spend time snorkeling and discovering colourful tropical fish and coral before continuing the coastal experience with a visit to Wasini Island. A Swahili-style lunch can be included depending on the excursion selected.
After the tour, return to Diani in the late afternoon.
Option 2: Kongo River Sunset Experience
If you prefer a quieter day, spend the morning and early afternoon relaxing at your hotel before heading to Kongo River later in the day. Located where the river meets the Indian Ocean, Kongo River is a beautiful place to enjoy Diani's evening atmosphere. Take an optional traditional canoe ride along the calm river before settling in to watch the sunset.
Return to your hotel after the experience for dinner.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and take in your final morning at the Coast. Depending on your departure schedule, there may still be time for one last swim, a morning walk along the beach or some quiet relaxation beside the pool. Check out and transfer to your departure point. Guests travelling by SGR will be transferred to Mombasa SGR Terminus, while guests travelling by air will be transferred to Ukunda Airport.
Board your train or flight back to Nairobi, bringing your four-day Diani escape to an end.
