Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be welcomed by your professional safari guide who will brief you on your adventure before setting off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The journey offers a wonderful introduction to Uganda's beautiful landscapes, passing rolling hills, rural villages, tea plantations, and scenic countryside. Today is one of the highlights of your safari.
After an early breakfast, head to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for a briefing by experienced park rangers. You'll learn about gorilla trekking guidelines before being assigned to a gorilla family.
Your trek through the dense rainforest can take anywhere between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Along the way, keep an eye out for colourful birds, butterflies, monkeys, and unique forest plants.
When you finally meet the mountain gorillas, you'll spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural environment. Watching them feed, groom, play, and care for their young is a truly humbling experience and one that few wildlife encounters can match.
After returning to the lodge and enjoying some time to relax, you'll visit the nearby Batwa community. During this cultural experience, you'll learn about the traditions of the Batwa people, visit local craft workshops, see traditional homes, and enjoy music and dance performances that celebrate their heritage.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your journey to Kibale National Park, Uganda's most famous destination for chimpanzee trekking.
The drive takes approximately seven hours and passes through some of the country's most beautiful landscapes. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, tea plantations, fertile farmland, and small villages, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs along the way.
Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing while enjoying views of the surrounding forest.

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading into Kibale National Park for your chimpanzee trekking adventure.
Kibale is home to one of Africa's largest populations of wild chimpanzees and supports an incredible variety of wildlife. As you walk through the tropical forest with your guide, you may also spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, blue monkeys, baboons, and numerous bird species.
Once you find the chimpanzees, spend time watching them as they move through the forest, communicate with one another, forage for food, and swing effortlessly between the trees.
After the trek, return to the lodge before beginning your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe.
You'll arrive in the evening, bringing your memorable Uganda primate safari to a close.
