Challenge yourself to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, on this 6-Day Marangu Route Climb. Often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route,” the Marangu Route is one of the most popular ways to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 metres) thanks to its well-maintained trails and comfortable mountain huts.
Unlike camping routes, the Marangu Route offers overnight stays in shared huts, making it a preferred choice for climbers who want a little more comfort during their trek. The additional acclimatization day included in this itinerary gives your body more time to adjust to the altitude, improving your chances of reaching the summit successfully.

The hike starts with a gentle climb through the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro National Park. The trail is shaded by towering trees and is home to colourful birds, blue monkeys, and black-and-white colobus monkeys.
The peaceful forest provides a perfect introduction to the climb as you make your way to Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop on the mountain.
If time allows, you can take a short walk to the nearby Maundi Crater, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
