Your romantic escape begins with your journey from Nairobi to Kenya's North Coast. For a smooth honeymoon experience, fly from Nairobi to Malindi Airport, where your private driver will meet you for the transfer to Watamu. Alternatively, an SGR option can be arranged from Nairobi to Mombasa, followed by a private road transfer to Watamu.
Upon arrival, check into your selected honeymoon resort. Depending on the hotel and package selected, we can arrange special touches such as flowers, honeymoon cake, room decoration or a welcome amenity.

Wake up without an alarm and enjoy a slow breakfast together. Today is intentionally free. Spend the morning swimming, walking along the beach or finding a quiet spot beside the pool.There is nowhere you need to be. Later, make the day even more relaxing with a couple's massage or spa treatment. Unwind together and enjoy a few hours of complete relaxation before spending the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your resort.
If you'd like something extra special, a romantic dining arrangement can be organized depending on your selected hotel.

After breakfast, it's time to add a little adventure to your honeymoon. Head out to explore Watamu Marine National Park, one of the highlights of a Watamu holiday.
Glass-Bottom Boat Experience
Board a glass-bottom boat and cruise across Watamu's beautiful tropical waters.Look through the viewing section to catch glimpses of the marine environment beneath you while enjoying the coastline from the ocean.
Snorkeling Experience
When conditions allow, put on your snorkeling equipment and enter the warm Indian Ocean together. Explore the colourful marine environment and look out for tropical fish and coral. After your marine adventure, return to your resort. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax.
Take a nap, head back to the pool or spend a few quiet hours on the beach.

After breakfast, enjoy another easy morning together. Spend the first half of the day at your resort. Swim, relax, enjoy a long lunch or simply stay in and enjoy the privacy of your room or suite. Later in the afternoon, get ready for one of the most romantic experiences of your Watamu honeymoon.
Mida Creek Sunset Experience
Head to beautiful Mida Creek, where mangroves and calm waters create a completely different atmosphere from Watamu's open beaches. Depending on your selected experience, board a traditional dhow or canoe and slowly explore the creek. Sit together, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and watch the colours begin to change as the sun goes down.
It's simple, quiet and exactly the kind of evening a honeymoon needs.
After sunset, return to your resort for dinner.

Your final full day in Watamu belongs entirely to the two of you. Sleep a little longer and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Spend the morning at the beach, take another swim or relax beside the pool.
If you'd like to explore, take an optional visit to the historic Gede Ruins, where you can walk through the remains of an old Swahili settlement surrounded by coastal forest. Alternatively, skip sightseeing completely and stay at the resort.
Romantic Farewell Dinner
As evening approaches, dress up for your final night. Depending on your selected resort, we can arrange a special romantic dinner to celebrate your honeymoon. Enjoy good food, the coastal atmosphere and one last beautiful evening together in Watamu.

Wake up to your final morning beside the Indian Ocean. Enjoy breakfast and take your time. Depending on your departure schedule, squeeze in one last swim or walk along the beach. Later, check out and meet your private driver. If flying, transfer to Malindi Airport for your flight back to Nairobi. If travelling by SGR, transfer to Mombasa SGR Terminus for the train journey home.
